BERRIDGE RENEWABLE ENERGY
The Berridge Renewable Energy project will provide the American grid with 160MW of solar energy and 160MW of energy storage, using up to 2,500 acres of private agricultural land in Tulare County.
A COMMUNITY-Centered PROJECT
Berridge Renewable Energy is a proposed solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Tulare County, California. It will harness the sun’s natural energy across up to 2,500 acres of leased private land that will deliver 160-MW of clean energy to the electrical grid. Berridge Renewable Energy will benefit Tulare County and the state of California by improving grid resiliency, lowering the frequency of blackouts and brownouts, as well as furthering the state-wide renewable energy goals.
A STRONGER ECONOMY IN TULARE COUNTY
Berridge Renewable Energy will benefit residents, landowners, and workers by creating approximately 150 jobs during construction, and enhancing the energy grid in California.
